Social Media Management Made Simple
is the course for business owners, managers and/or marketers who need to manage their social media accounts more effectively. 

How does the course work?

The online course will be delivered over six weeks, starting on Monday 14th January 2019.

Each Friday lunchtime there will be a live webinar including a Q&A session which will also be recorded for later viewing.

You’re not working alone when you take this course, I am available to provide one-to-one feedback throughout the course period, and for six weeks after the course completes.

By the end of the Social Media Management Made Simple Course, you will know:

  • What social media platform/s to use for your business
  • How to set up and optimise your chosen social media platform/s (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and/or LinkedIn)
  • How to write a social media marketing plan
  • How to create a content calendar

  • How to schedule social media posts

  • How to measure social media success

The principles covered throughout the course are applicable to the use of social media as a marketing communications and business development channel.

Specifically, information will be provided for Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and LinkedIn.

Q. How long do I need to spend on this course?

A: Overall, the course requires a commitment of at least 12 hours.

Q. Is there course homework?

A: Learners are invited to send information for feedback, however it’s not mandatory. The added value of this course is that you can receive my personal guidance throughout. I’m available, via email, throughout the course period and for six weeks after the course completes to answer any queries related to the course content.

Q. How is the course delivered?

The first set of course material will be available on 14th January 2019, at 10am. New material will be released each Monday morning.

The course will be a mix of written and video content.

Q. I’m not available for the full 6 weeks of the course, can I still participate?

A: Yes! The course information is released on a weekly basis, on a Monday morning. You can work through material in your own time, at your own pace. The weekly webinars are live, to encourage you to action the weekly course material, however it’s not mandatory to attend and recordings will be made available.

If you wish your work to be reviewed, or have questions on the course material, you will need to complete the course by Sunday 7th April 2019.

Q. Do I need to be using social media already?

A. No experience is necessary, though existing use of social media may allow learners to fast-track through some of the content.

Q. Does the course cover social media advertising?

A. No. This course focuses on organic use of social media as a communications channel for your business.

Q. Do I need access to any social media tools such as Hootsuite before starting this course?

A. No. Tools and resources will be recommended throughout the course, but they are not required prior to starting.
